This Privacy Policy explains what information XwerseMovies collects, how it's used, and how it's protected.

1. Information We Collect

• Account information — name, email address, and (if you sign in with Google) your Google profile name/avatar.
• Viewing activity — titles watched, watch progress, and your My List / Continue Watching data, used to power those features.
• Payment information — we never see or store your card, UPI, or bank details. These are collected and processed directly by Cashfree Payments, our PCI-compliant payment partner.
• Device/usage data — basic technical information (browser type, approximate region) used for troubleshooting and improving the Service.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To create and manage your account and viewer profiles.
• To provide personalized features like Continue Watching and My List.
• To process one-time Request payments via Cashfree.
• To send account-related notifications (e.g. Request status updates).

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. Data is shared only with the service providers required to run XwerseMovies:

• Supabase — our database and authentication provider, which stores your account and viewing data securely.
• Cashfree Payments — our payment gateway, which handles payment processing directly.
• The Movie Database (TMDB) — used to source movie/show metadata, posters, and trailers; no personal account data is sent to TMDB.

4. Data Security

Account data is protected using Supabase's authentication and Row Level Security. Payments are handled by Cashfree's PCI-DSS compliant infrastructure — we never store raw card or bank details on our servers.

5. Your Choices

You can update your account details, change your password, or delete viewer profiles from Settings at any time. To request full account deletion, contact us via the Contact page.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated date.
